UNESCO World Heritage List China

Sites with "outstanding universal value" to mankind are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List annually. Today, there are 1123 sites around the world in the list.

The sites are categorised as cultural, natural or cultural and natural sites. They can consist of a single site or a group of sites under each inscription.
